Our Path to Wellness at Gathering Wisdom.

Wiseblood has enjoyed a long and collaborative relationship with First Nations Health Council. We were thrilled to celebrate Indigenous health leaders and share their stories of well-being at the 12th Gathering Wisdom for a shared journey conference.

The “Our Path to Wellness” installation celebrates elders, youth health leaders, and generations of Indigenous people from many Nations and communities across BC. Each panel highlights words of hope, stories of resilience, and prayers for how Indigenous people are reclaiming their wellness for healthy, self-determining and vibrant BC First Nations Children, Families, and Communities. We worked with award-winning National Geographic photographer Kiliii Yüyan, whose work is informed by his Nanai/Hèzhé (East Asian Indigenous) and Chinese ancestry, to produce compelling portraits of strength and leadership.
